The Receptionist is responsible for providing basic administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations.
The Receptionist is responsible for opening and closing the office Monday-Friday on time, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Responsible for answering phones, greeting guests, refreshing coffee throughout each day, and expediting as needed
Assistant to the Project Coordinator and other staff as directed by the Project Coordinator
Responsible for preparing and sorting all incoming and outgoing mail and packages, certified mailing, FedEx, etc.
Scanning, Filing, Faxing, and making copies
Responsible for maintaining office schedules including Project Coordinator, Project Manager, & Executive Team.
Responsible for keeping work pace, the reception area, kitchen and refrigerator, bathroom supply room and copier areas clean, organized and well-stocked daily.
Taking inventory of office and kitchen supplies and placing the supply orders
Reconciling vendor statements and properly code statements
Submit prepared payroll weekly for all projects
Assign/facilitate office equipment to new/existing employees, i.e., computers, phones, etc.
Point of contact for IT issues
Maintain equipment logs
Other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent.
0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Strong organizational, inter-personal, verbal, listening, and writing skills
Microsoft Office Suite experience required
Has entry level knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Human Resources field
Punctual with good attendance
Must be organized and have great attention to detail
Good written and oral communication skills is a must
Ability to work with little or no supervision on various projects and activities
Must have a valid Driver's License
Two (2) years of general secretarial or file clerk experience is desirable
Must have experience in office operations
Some education in human resources is desirable
