Established multifamily property management and development company is looking for talented staff. Founded in xxxx, we have developed and acquired more than $250,000,000 of multifamily, retail, and boutique office properties. We currently manage more than 130 properties, totaling more than 10,000 units in Michigan and the Southeastern United States. MINIMUM RESPONSIBILITIES: Handling all aspects of leasing apartments, including greeting prospective residents, touring the community, closing the deal, process all lease applications - verifications and notify prospective residents of their application status Prepare all new lease paperwork Answer incoming phone calls and persuade prospective residents to visit the property, send thank you notes and perform visitor follow-up Reach out to local businesses to promote the property and increase visitor traffic Inspect model apartments and market ready units daily to ensure cleanliness Physically inspect the grounds, pick up litter and report any outstanding maintenance needs Be an expert on the community and amenities, as well as those of the communitys competitors Maintain knowledge of all competitors specials and rents Ability to explain the propertys lease agreement and associated move-in documentation Screen all incoming residents by objective qualification standards Achieve an acceptable leasing closing ratio as determined by the Property Manager Maintain activity report by inputting daily traffic Participate in company meetings as required Participate in company training classes as required Perform all other duties as assigned by Property Manager and Regional Manager Prepare, organize and file reports and other resident correspondence
