The position will reside at the Companys Pascagoula, MS site. The selected candidate for this position will be responsible for issuing and processing delivery receipt lists (DRLs) and handling other related material support tasks as assigned. Additional job duties include: Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties which may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data. Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials; prepares records of materials shipped and bills of lading; routes materials to destinations. May lay out, fabricate, and assemble nonstandard shipping crates and boxes, and prepare parts and tooling for special shipment. Basic Qualifications High School and 4 years additional education and/or experience. The selected candidate is expected to have direct work experience using the Company Material Acquisition Requirements System (MARS) as well as a knowledge of raw materials such as steel, shapes, plates, etc. and other related equipment. A proficiency in other business information systems as Microsoft Office tools; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, is also needed to perform this role successfully.
